GoThrive Technologies Ltd. (“Sellyt,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides an AI-powered social-commerce platform that helps micro- and small-business owners turn chat conversations on WhatsApp, Instagram DM, and Facebook Messenger into verified sales.

This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and secure your personal information when you:

• visit sellyt.app or any sub-domain (“Site”),
• use the Sellyt web or mobile app (“Platform”), or
• Interact with our AI chatbots, plugins, APIs, or support channels (together, the “Services”).

By accessing any part of the Services, you consent to the practices set out below. If you disagree, please discontinue use.

We rely on Contractual Necessity, Legitimate Interests, Consent (for cookies/marketing), and Legal Obligation, as applicable.

We never sell your data. We only share with:

• Processors (cloud hosting, analytics, SMS/email providers) are under strict confidentiality.
• Payment Partners (Paystack, Stripe, etc.) to verify and settle transactions.

Law Enforcement is legally required to protect rights, property, or safety. If we undergo a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the successor entity with notice to you.

We use first- and third-party cookies for session management, analytics (e.g., Plausible, Google Analytics), and marketing attribution. Manage preferences in our Cookie Settings banner or your browser.

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Chat logs default to 24-month retention unless you delete them sooner in Settings → Data Controls.

Depending on jurisdiction, you may: access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your data. Email privacy@gosellyt.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Sellyt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact us for deletion.

We host primarily in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland). For transfers outside Nigeria/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We’ll post any updates here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
