Terms of service

By creating a Sellyt account or using the Services, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you represent a business, you warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. We may ask for ID verification.

Provide accurate info and keep credentials secure. You’re responsible for all activity under your account.

Plans: Basic ₦5,000/mo, Standard ₦10,000/mo, Pro ₦20,000/mo, Growth (quote). Standard & Pro include a 14-day trial (card required). 0.5 % platform fee applies to gross merchandise value processed via Sellyt Pay. Prices are in NGN unless stated otherwise and may change with 30-days’ notice.

We integrate Paystack, Stripe, and other PSPs. Settlement times depend on your chosen provider. Chargebacks are your liability.

You retain ownership of content you upload (product photos, descriptions, chat logs). You grant Sellyt a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Services.

Our AI replies are generated algorithmically and may occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and, where necessary, editing messages before they reach customers. Do not rely on the chatbot for legal, medical, or financial advice.

All Sellyt software, logos, and trademarks are our property. You may not use them without written permission.

You may cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; service remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. We may terminate for breach, non-payment, or suspected fraud with immediate effect.

The Services are provided “as-is” and “as-available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Sellyt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid to Sellyt in the 12 months preceding the event.

You agree to defend and indemnify Sellyt, its directors, and employees against any third-party claims arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration in Lagos under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act Cap A18 LFN 2004 (as amended). The award shall be final and binding.

We may modify these Terms with 14 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
